WinHaze is a computer-imaging software program that simulates visual air quality differences of various scenes. The Level-1 visual air quality modeler allows analysts to view visual air quality scenarios on their desktop computer as a supplement to air quality monitoring. Users can select from 134 national park, wilderness, and urban scenes. Users can then model scenes using different optical parameters or aerosol species, to simulate effects they have on the scenes. WinHaze is a 32-bit software program that can be installed and run under Windows 98, 2000, NT4.0 sp6, or Windows XP. Minimum system requirements include an 800 x 600 16-bit color display set at small fonts, a mouse, and 16 mb of ram. Download the file to a temporary directory, then execute. It is a self-extracting setup file which will install WinHaze on your system. NOTE: Any previous versions of WinHaze must be uninstalled prior to installion Version 2.9.6. This is a 153mb file.
