Bethany Moffat, ARS’ Environmental Compliance manager, delivered a guest lecture to an undergraduate Introduction to Environmental Science class at Metro State University of Denver on Monday, April 28. During her lecture, she discussed the intricacies of working and collaborating with regulatory agencies, providing students with valuable insights into the field from her extensive experience.

Bethany is an air quality scientist with focused experience in air program management for industrial sources. She has extensive experience drafting, reviewing, modifying, and managing compliance with air permits across a broad range of industries including power generation, mining, manufacturing, and health and educational campuses. She works alongside clients to calculate and track emissions, perform emissions inventory updates, and complete operation and maintenance plans, compliance certifications, RACT analysis, greenhouse gas reporting, air dispersion modeling, and more.

Understanding the tools and regulatory structures in place to ensure air quality compliance can be incredibly complex for small- to mid-sized businesses along the Front Range in Colorado. We partner with EHS teams at these businesses to provide tools and training to staff to make air quality compliance easy.
