WDEQ-AQD Performance Evaluation Audits and Training

The WDEQ-AQD contracted ARS to conduct performance evaluation audits on gaseous, particulate and meteorological equipment.

WDEQ-AQD required assistance completing performance evaluation audits on gaseous, particulate and meteorological equipment. Our staff has extensive experience auditing for Federal, State, Tribal and Private Industry clients. We aided the WDEQ in completing performance evaluations of O₃, NO_X, SO₂, CO, continuous and filter-based PM_2.5 and PM₁₀, hydrocarbon analyzers, and an array of meteorological sensors. Our team established schedules for each quarter, worked with stakeholders to coordinate visits, and delivered detailed reports for each audit to WDEQ-AQD.  

During this time, ARS provided training to WDEQ-AQD auditors on proper operation, maintenance and calibration of all auditing equipment, certification of equipment, review of datalogger programs, and review of EPA QA requirements and AQD QAPP requirements. The course also included a multi-day, hands-on training session at the Cheyenne NCore monitoring station covering performance audit procedures for all equipment at this complex station.
